About the Artist: Barb Kallestad, local artist, obtained her art education at School of Associated Arts in St. Paul, MN and Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy. She mainly paints in transparent watercolors and switched from portraiture & still life to Tahoe landscapes, when she and her husband moved to Incline Village in 1987 to raise their three children.
