Foothill Poultry proudly offers Natural, Local, Pastured, NEVADA-raised chicken and eggs to Reno, Sparks and Carson City! Our chickens are raised in South Reno. As a startup pilot scale farm, we carefully raise small clutches of broiler chickens from March to November. From being hand-raised in the brooder for 14 days to living their lives outside, our chickens thrive on Non-GMO feed, fresh air, and an expansive pasture.

We started our journey in 2020 with four beloved Blue Plymouth Rock hens, affectionately named The Chickens of Madagascar: Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, & Private. We built a little red house for them, and they are happy!

At Foothill Poultry, we are a family business that started when Elvis and the Girls moved in becoming our resident flock in 2023. What began as a summer project with five hens and a dozen broiler chickens quickly evolved into a plan to bring natural, local, pastured poultry to the Reno market. We invite you to try our chicken and experience the distinct taste and quality for yourself!

We offer natural, local, pastured whole bird, cut up whole chicken, & individual cuts of chicken.
– Both single bird purchases &monthly subscriptions.
– Whole birds are bagged.
– Cut up whole chicken is vacuum packed.
– Individual cuts are vacuum packaged by the cut; blsl breast, thighs, legs, wings, tenders, necks, hearts, liver, feet.
– all chicken is delivered frozen.
