Our chef and owner, Luc Gerber, studied the culinary arts in Paris, France. He moved to San Francisco in 1999 to work under some talented chefs, where he honed his skills in the kitchen, but dreamed of one day owning his own restaurant. In San Francisco, Luc met his wife Erin, who was also working in the restaurant industry. They moved to Elko to raise their two daughters and realized their dream when they opened Luciano’s.
At Luciano’s, you’ll find some of the best pasta you’ve ever divulged in, crispy green salads, savory homemade soups, an impressive variety of seafood, and of course lamb chops and delicious steaks. Often, their meat and produce is sourced from local farms and ranches. And after dinner, don’t forget to polish off an unforgettable dining experience with a big fat slice of homemade tiramisu or gelato!
