BUY
Choose dark green artichokes with tightly closed leaves. Avoid open leaves, brown and dry artichokes.
It should feel heavy for its size when picked up.
KEEP
Artichokes can be kept up to four days in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.

5 Artichokes remove stalks and tough leaves
1½ teaspoons Salt
8 Peppercorns
2 Stalks celery cut up
½ Lemon sliced
2 cups Boiling water
