Babeland Ladies Wear

My name is Melody and I am the owner of Babeland Ladies Wear. I started my business out of an initial curiosity about how underwear was made and a love of color. I’ve been an artist my entire life and always wanted to create my own clothing line…. make it expressive, but made well and made according to my values.

I believe what we wear can empower us and underwear is our foundation, so you might as well make a statement in something comfortable! So many existing brands are made cheaply with synthetic fibers like polyester and I wanted to change that.

Because I’m a huge nature lover, I also wanted to make sure my values were reflected in my clothing, so I work with upcycled and rescued materials (as much as possible)! And all of the new fabric I use is made out of bamboo, which is eco-friendly. Everything is made by hand, by me, so it’s created ethically- no sweatshop involved

Product Description:
I make colorful women’s clothing, jewelry and accessories. I have an upcycled clothing line of bell bottoms, crop tops, and dresses. A unique line of headdresses and festival wear, as well as smaller jewelry pieces. I also have a new underwear line coming up of local artist prints printed on eco-friendly fabric.
