Barb Kallestad Art

About the Artist:

Barb Kallestad, local artist, obtained her art education at School of Associated Arts in St. Paul, MN and Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy. She mainly paints in transparent watercolors and switched from portraiture & still life to Tahoe landscapes, when she and her husband moved to Incline Village in 1987 to raise their three children. Many of her original watercolors were sold while living in Tahoe for 20 years!

Now residing in South Reno, Barb still accepts commission work and sells her art, of Reno and Tahoe images, to retailers in the Reno/Carson City and Tahoe areas. She also has a small photography line of the Wild Nevada Mustangs – that live alongside them in Reno.

All-occasion Art Cards and giclee prints of all sizes (reproduced from her original watercolors) represent the huge inventory of her artwork. Barb can be reached through her website or email address. She presently sells her art at The Flag Store, Reno eNVy and Nevada, 1864.
