My family has a cattle ranch based out of Smith, Nevada. We primarily raise cattle on Bureau of Land Management and Forest Service leases where our cattle graze natural grasses and forage. In the winter, they are in the Pinenut Mountain Range, and in the summer, they are in the Sweetwater Mountain Range. Our cattle also graze on pastures and river bottom along the East Walker River.
I started my own business to finish out a handful of our calves to sell delicious beef straight to you! We are natural-minded and do not give growth hormones to our cattle. They are raised on grasses but finished on grain to provide marbling that translates into excellent taste. We currently sell quarter, half, and whole beef shares with delivery from Reno to Smith.
