My name is Chrissi, owner, and baker of this cottage food bakery. I specialize in real sourdough breads, made with flour, water, and salt.

The breadcrumb of it all: I have been in Food & Beverage & the tech side of the F&B industry for well over 25 years. I love to cook & bake, but baking sourdough now pretty much sums it up!
Just as a new sourdough recipe, my story is one of sticky dough, endless trials, and a good amount of benching, proofing, scraping, shaping, and baking!
I am an avid home cook who is always ready to feed an army. I have a fondness for cooking and have been since I was 9. I love sourdough bread and have as far back as I can remember. After years of purchasing not so great store bought breads, I decided to travel the sourdough journey myself and open a bakery, and why not.
Here I am, making sourdough bread for my community in Douglas County Nevada.
It is a labor of love that I truly enjoy and I hope you do as well.
