What do you get when you take two descendants of long-time cattle ranchers – one a fifth-generation Nevadan and one of Scottish descent – and put them out in a pasture? That’s how you get the Corkscrew Land & Cattle Company.
Shannon Ceresola is a fifth-generation Nevadan who comes from multiple generations of cattle ranchers since the 1880s. Lowell Patton grew up on his grandparents’ cattle ranch and has a ranching history on both sides of his family. His Scottish ancestors (Clan Macneil) left Scotland in 1773 bound for America.
In 2013 Lowell and Shannon began growing alfalfa. Beginning in 2019, they began building a Scottish Highland fold. The ranch now grows enough forage for the Highland fold and, at times, has additional hay for sale.
In 2022, Corkscrew Land & Cattle Company add bees and began producing honey and honey products.
We look forward to showing you our cattle or our bees as well as purchasing animals for breeding, meat for the table, or honey products.Product Description:
