My business was started in 2007 when I made a necklace for myself by putting numerous small charms I owned together on a chain. I received compliments and decided to continue experimenting with creative ideas and new materials. My first business name was Healing Jewels because I’ve long had an interest in the possible healing frequencies of different stones. After a number of years, I wanted to expand my reach to style conscious women and renamed my business Decolletage, referring to the area of the neck and chest where a necklace lies. A number of years ago, I decided to change names again because I thought people couldn’t remember the name Decolletage as easily as Ravin Design.
